This was our first experience with Shur-way. We moved on Jan 6th and 7th, 2026 from Lake Blufff. This was our 12th move and I have to say that Shur-Way is now the gold standard for movers. Mike (Leader), Nick, Anthony, Neal, Dresdan, Hector and Martin made a great team and we were lucky enough to get them for both days. They were efficient but thoughtful. Nothing was broken or damaged and when in doubt, they asked first which we appreciated.

Our family has used Shur-Way for several decades and multiple family moves for us, my in-laws, and now the estate of my parents.

We moved into my parents’ coop in 1968. The move out today of the big furniture was bitter sweet, shipping things off to my out of town siblings. So many wonderful memories.

The crew we had were professional, on time, friendly, and, compassionate. They say moving is one of the most stressful life events. As a Realtor, I know that is true. This team of Javier, Anthony, J.D., and Adam were all fantastic.

They did their job well and efficiently while maintaining a good sense of humor.

Adam and Col did a great job of moving our items from storage in Illinois all the way up to northern Wisconsin this winter. They were very careful with our furniture and made sure no snow was tracked into the house. They were friendly and engaging and really showed their years of moving expertise. There honestly cannot be a better moving company out there than Shur-Way. Javier, Nick, Hector and Derick made the stress of moving literally melt away and went over and above so many times during the process that I lost count. Even our new neighbors were asking me if they were as amazing as they seemed to be. Yes yes yes! And their salesperson and customer sales people were just as great. We’ve moved thirteen times, and without a doubt, Nestor Amaya of Shur-Way Movers was the best driver we’ve ever had. From the moment he pulled up to the moment he pulled away, Nestor was hands-on, attentive, and completely professional. He took care of every detail with incredible thoroughness, ensuring we could rest easy knowing our belongings were in the best hands.

Nestor didn’t just show up—he led the process. He brought in a phenomenal team of loaders who made quick, careful work of our full truckload. Throughout the move, he stayed actively involved, supervising and assisting the crew to make sure everything was handled with care and efficiency.

Moving can be incredibly stressful, but Nestor’s calm confidence and attention to detail made all the difference. We are so grateful for the top-notch service he provided and would recommend him and Shur-Way Movers without hesitation.

Shurway movers are so careful with our furniture and all belongings. Their driver, Harold Harvey, kept us informed and was quite punctual. Shurway moved us from west central Illiniois to northern Illinois. I would highly recommend Shurway Movers and give them 5 Stars.

Cross state line move from Pewaukee, WI to Plainfield, IL. From Scott helping us understand costs and timing to Rohon, Javier, Martin & Gunner handling our household goods and Tom in AR, everything was flawless. Brad and everyone in the warehouse did an excellent job with our short term storage. This was the longest and heaviest move we've ever had and it was by far the least amount of headache. Daniel and his team came in and did everything so efficiently! I mean they were absolutely on the top of their game! Even lent me tools to help take apart my table and pack it down. The 3rd party people never called to crate my table, but Daniel and his team made sure to pack it and give the best of care. These folks were on it! Highly recommend!

Shur-Way is very professional. They wrap all your objects nicely, label everything, and even write down everything they packed. The workers have all been super kind and I felt super safe while they were packing my house. I am impressed by how fast they work.
