Move from Illinois to Wisconsin: From the time Ryan came out and gave us a quote and explained how Shurway Movers would handle our move through packing, pick-up and delivery of our household to our destination, everything went smoothly and was handled very responsibly and expeditiously. Lisa and Amanda did an amazing job expertly packing our much treasured artwork and glass tops and provided invaluable advice on how to pack awkwardly shaped items. George and his team (Chris, Marco, Gunner, Martin and Julian) expertly loaded all of our belongings onto the moving van working endlessly to get everything loaded onto the truck in one day! With our move being across state lines we were very happy to see George and Martin again as they provided continuity and worked endlessly with the delivery team (Jedavon, Brian, Javier, Doug, Marco and Eleazer) who not only unloaded boxes but helped us with furniture assembly and placement and finished again in one day! The care that everyone took to keep the house we moved out of and house we moved into as clean as possible was wonderful. We moved into a newly constructed home, and the night before the moving truck arrived it had snowed, and all items needed to be carried up a gravel/mud/snow path as we did not have a driveway yet. They took the necessary steps with plywood and tarps to keep dirt and snow out of the house. We had a few items with minor damage which Lyndsey very expeditiously worked with us to process our claim to have the items repaired per Shurway’s policy. We strongly recommend Shurway if you are looking for quality movers. They definitely have the experts in every role associated with moving, and we would recommend them to anyone planning a move!

Shur-way was a great moving experience for my aunt. Casey and Willie were hardworking, cautious, and efficient. They packed everything carefully and didnt damage anything. They were upfront with cost and beat their estimate. We will definitely use Shur-way for future moves.

The packing and moving crews were prompt and efficient. They asked for clarifications and preferences and gave honest and prompt feedback. The total job came in well under budget. The job was performed professionally and courteously with only a few minor drywall dings, which they immediately pointed out. Cannot say enough good things about our Shur-Way experience! The guys were on time, courteous, respectful of our things, and very efficient! They moved our entire second floor apartment in the quoted time with no hidden fees and were able to take all our big furniture out no problem. Just had a pack/load out with Tony, Chris G, and Casey and had a lovely experience! They immediately put me at ease despite the stress of doing a move alone while my husband is away for work. I really appreciated how they mentioned several times how they were packing things a certain way to prevent damage and very clearly explained all the paperwork to me. I really wish they could be my unload team!

Had four men and a truck for a partial move of 200 boxes and some furniture to new home> When turned out not enough men and truck they sent two more men and a second truck to get it all done in a day.Next day had Tony and Casey come and help me put boxes away and arrange out what was moved. They were great! Had it done in 3-1/2 hours. It would have taken me days and a whip to get it done with my grown boys.

Highly recommended! We had a full pack and move, we move a lot. 9-10 May, Bianca and her team did the packing. They were extremely professional and took expert-level care of all our stuff. I would request her and her crew for any pack out.On 11 May, Tim and his crew did the move out. His team was super professional and fast! I could not keep up with them!!! I was so impressed with the speed and efficiency of their teamwork and system in completely emptying the house.

We have moved twice in the last 4 years & Shurway was by far the superior experience for both move out & move in. This move covered 2 years from move out, storage & move in to the new place. We had at least 1 of the guys from the move out crew on our move in crew 2 years later. On the move out side, the packers did an excellent, efficient job & the movers were so accommodating & friendly. On the move in side, the movers were simply outstanding- so careful, a pleasure to have around all day, & so good at reassembling any pieces that had been disassembled for move out. Moving is stressful & we've had really bad experiences before. Javier, Tony B, Adam, Javier Jr, & Neil were phenomenal!

The movers we had with shurway were absolutely great! We just finished unpacking (almost, kitchen is left) and only a few things were damaged! No big deal it could have been a lot worse. We had Jedavon and his team bring us our things from storage here in IL and not only were they good with our home goods they were sweet with my daughter!! She was following them back and forth as she did with the first movers, when they came and packed our stuff up. Kept an eye on her when she was outside and did their job efficiently… Really appreciate these men.

We highly recommend Shur way!!! They have moved our family several times. The last move was across the country from Grayslake to San Antonio. Not one thing was damaged. The team of women that packed our boxes did an amazing job. They were beyond helpful and so efficient. They took a lot of stress off of our plate. Our mover John and his team were incredible. He took great care in making sure that our breakable items were in a safe spot in the truck. Overall excellent service from the entire Shur Way team. Ryan was our moving consultant. His estimate was right on the money. The ladies in the office were helpful as well. We cannot say enough good things about this company. I would highly recommend Shur-Way moving. They were very professional and extremely helpful. The movers were great. I am an older woman and they were great when I was packing up the last items they moved the boxes helped me out with tapping them after they were packed. After my experience with Shur-Way I would never use anyone but Shur-Way if I ever have to move again.
