I am very late getting this review out. I moved the end of October from Highland Park to Lake Bluff. Very anxious about this move. Went great. The 3 men they sent were professional, polite, kind. Their names are Javier M. , Colt and Marcust. Colt was the leader and did an excellent job keeping me calm. They came in under the estimated time and saved me money. I provided donuts, water and cokes for them. Thank you Shurway Movers and thank you guys! I will use again for sure.

We used Shurway two times, and both times they were amazing! They took great care to wrap all furniture to prevent damages. Both moves were smooth, quick, and efficient. First time we also used their packing service.They took great care to pack everything with padding such that nothing was damaged during the move.John was especially great. He was handy at taking the furniture apart for the move, and re-assembling everything at the new place.Shurway was also super accurate and honest with their prices. On the second move, the move actually took less time than initially expected, and they charged me only for the hours they worked (thus I paid less than initially quoted). I worked with Scott B. both times for the quotes and both times it was a breeze.

Exellent service and an all star team!!! I’m compelled to give a shout out to the packing team; Felisha, Becky, & Aileen (not sure how to spell that. My apologies if I didn’t spell it correctly) These ladies are an all star team. Joey J, Neal, and Dresdon were extremely professional and hard working. They arrived promptly and worked well together. They handled our belongings with care and worked efficiently. It was extremely hot on the day of our move and we absolutely could not have made our local move without their help. Would absolutely recommend Shur-Way movers to friends and family in the future and would use their services again for any future moves.

Shur-Way is very professional. They wrap all your objects nicely, label everything, and even write down everything they packed. The workers have all been super kind and I felt super safe while they were packing my house. I am impressed by how fast they work.

I wish I remembered the rest of the workers names. I just remember John B and Marvin from Ohio, and William with his Illinois crew. Very satisfied will be using them in the future.

Our Shur-Way Moving team of Marcus, Willie H., Colt and Dresden made our moving experience easy and stress free. The guys were friendly, professional and courteous. TOP NOTCH EXPERIENCE!!!We moved out of our Lake Bluff house 3 weeks ago and our goods are currently in storage with ShurWay in Libertyville. We have moved 8 times during our adult lives and this was far and away the best pack and load experience.Becky and her team of packers are knowledgeable and efficient, packing a large 2-story home in 2 days. Harvey and Javi led loading teams that got everything out of the house in a day and a half. All the ShurWay team members were professional, friendly, but, most importantly, diligent hard workers.We look forward to a like experience with the delivery and unloading at our new house in Arizona.

We used Shur-Way 10 years ago with fantastic results, so when we recently moved again, there was no doubt in our minds who we would contract with again. The crew (John H, Mike F, Aiden, Devell, Adam and JD) arrived on time and got right to work. Even being one of the hottest September days, they worked steadily until the trucks were loaded. And while we only moved across town, they arrived at our new house following a quick lunch break, and repeated the process emptying their trucks. They reassembled the items that were taken apart and they even assisted with reassembling our Sleep Number bed, which was a BIG help! And the cost was less than we anticipated, which is always a nice surprise. We just could not be happier with Shur-Way.

Had a great move yesterday and today with Tyler, John, Aiden, and Colt. They not only did a professional job, they were courteous and attentive. Best movers we’ve had in our 25 years of marriage which included 9 military moves.Thank you.I give them my highest recommendation!

Shur-Way Moving & Storage has been excellent for our cross-country move, Illinois to Arizona. They provided a fast and remarkably accurate quote, did careful and efficient packing of all our household goods, great preparation and loading of all furniture and boxes, and provided the muscle to move “leftover” furniture inside the house from upper and lower floors to the main floor/garage for sale and donation. Javier, Develle, and Nick were especially incredible. Everyone has been kind, helpful, and extremely hard working. Our household is in storage for the next month, but we trust that we’ll get the same amazing service on the other end of this move. Highly recommend Shur-Way!

Scott and team were incredible. Arrived on time, loaded the truck and place boxes in each assigned room with no errors. Nico and Lamar were very cautious moving furniture so it wouldn’t get scratched. I would highly recommend Shur Way for any moving project.

My wife recently completed a renovation of our staircase and they used extreme care to make sure there were no issues. The team of women that packed our boxes did an amazing job. They were beyond helpful and so efficient. They took a lot of stress off of our plate. Our mover John and his team were incredible. I would highly recommend Shur-Way moving. They were very professional and extremely helpful. The movers were great. I am an older woman and they were great when I was packing up the last items they moved the boxes helped me out with tapping them after they were packed. After my experience with Shur-Way I would never use anyone but Shur-Way if I ever have to move again.
